Stress Management Class
Life moves at a very fast pace for many of us. As a result,
acute and sometimes chronic stress can be a reality for many
people. Stress overburdens our adrenal system, weakens our immune
system, and depletes our sense of well being. Studies have shown
that stress is a contributing factor to disease, illness, chronic
pain, depression, and anxiety. I believe that our ability to
manage or eliminate stress is the single most important thing
we can do for our health, vitality, and peace of mind.
This three week course includes techniques to increase well being
and eliminate stress.
Some of the stress reduction techniques taught in this
class include:
- Guided imagery
- Breathing techniques
- Visualization
- Grounding techniques
- Body awareness
- Self care techniques
